States & Regions Correspondence Chess Championship

Russell Sherwood  Friday, December 22, 2017

The S&RCCC, organised by the Welsh Correspondence Chess Federation is now underway.

States and Regions CCC 2017 Division One

States and Regions CCC 2017 Division Two

States and Regions CCC 2017 Division Three

25 teams representing regions of the USA, England, Wales, Germany, Ukraine, Austria, Australia, Slovenia, Panama, Portugal, Mexico, Lithuania are starting to battle It out.

Within the teams are ……………..1 GM, 6 SIM, 12 IM, 16 CCM/LGM and 16 CCE

The event is also interesting as it utilises the Hutton pairing system, a great way to have a large team event without a significantly increased playing burden and is the first to trial the Tri-Bi Time Control System.
