2019 Tournament Entry Fees Now Online

Austin Lockwood  Sunday, December 30, 2018

The 2019 tournament entry fees are now available under "Play>Tournament Entry Fees".

These now include the new ICCF norm tournaments.

Please note that for ICCF and European tournaments, these are the fees that you will pay to WCCF in GBP if you select "Register by National Federation" when registering for a tournament on the ICCF webserver. You will also have the option to pay immediately in Euros by selecting the "Register by Direct Entry" option, but in most cases the fee will be a little higher.

In either case, please check the qualification requirements carefully (rating, etc.) when entering a new tournament.

Looking for something different?

Even in the modern CC world, these events are interesting as Engines tend to not evaluate Openings well, especially 960 positions!

Well worth a look for the adventurous!

Quote of the Day

Chess holds its master in its own bonds, shackling the mind and brain so that the inner freedom of the very strongest must suffer.
